TJJ Bus 4 Update : Our Final Shabbat

Shalom Shalom!

I wanted to send out a quick update as we quickly approach our final Shabbat together. This week we finished touring the south of Israel with amazing Water sports on the gorgeous beach in Eilat. Banana Boating, tubing, paddle boating, kayaking and snorkeling in the Sea of Reeds/Red Sea just to name a few!

Yesterday we journeyed back to Jerusalem, for the final days of our trip. This morning we visited the biblical site of the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hevron. This is the burial place for Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Sarah, Rebecca, and Leah. We explored our heritage through history, politics and prayer connecting to the location and tradition of the Jewish People. Next, we visited the biblical tomb of Rachel, learning why she wasn’t buried with the other foremothers and what she stood for.

We traveled back to Jerusalem to experience the Friday Afternoon bustle of the “Shuk” Machane Yehuda. We were only a few of the thousands of people rushing to purchase their final items for Shabbat. Most notable is the delicious smells of the shuk bakeries which are unparalleled worldwide and will not be forgotten.

As we head into our final Shabbat together as a Bus 4 Family, I would like to wish you all a restful and peaceful Shabbat filled with only joy and blessing.
