Dear Parents,
The TJJers have been loving their time in Jerusalem so far! Yesterday was an intense day, as we went to the Kotel first thing in the morning and followed it up with Har Hertzl – where Israel’s heroes are buried. It was incredible to see their response to being at the Kotel and then being able to show appreciation for the people that fight to protect our Country. Afterwards we went to Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Museum, and we were able to experience even more intense emotions of gratitude for the lives that we have as Jews.
Soon we start Shabbat! We will be on our way to the Kotel for Friday night prayers, then eating dinner in the Old City.
