Dear Parents,
The last couple of days in the Negev have been incredible! It was a pleasure to stay on a little friendly kibbutz near Be’er Sheva and be able to meet the people and understand the mission of that beautiful city working hard against all odds to make the desert bloom.
Last night we went to Bedouin Hospitality for a very unique experience. The teens enjoyed riding camels and eating dinner, Bedouin style, but the height of the evening started when the stars came out. We went into the desert to have some alone time – each one of us – to think to our selves and the Beyond. Afterwards we came together for a late night bonfire and bonded more as a group. We shared ideas about each other that we admired, learning the lesson of the power of positive thinking and attitude and feeling our ability to lift each other up.
We’re currently zip lining and afterwards on the way to our next hotel in Jerusalem!
