TJJer Spotlight: Dinah Medevoy In Eliat we had the water experience of a lifetime. We started off with water sports (banana boating and tubing) that threatened to throw us into the clearest blue water imaginable. We then swam for a bit, ate some pizza, and embarked on a boat ride to a coral reef. After learning a dance routine to surprise Lindsey (Chaim’s wife) we snorkeled and splashed around. The water was so clear that a reef hundreds of feet below us appeared to be right below the surface! We ended the day by reflecting on the impossible wonder that is Eilat; on the improbability that Israel would have a deep water port and resort city in the Negev, on the wonder that is Israel’s connection to both Asia and Africa, and on the miracle of such a city standing proudly in our Holy Land.
