TJJer Spotlight: Rachel Krasner

Hi I’m Rachel Krasner and I’m from Michigan. Today in the morning, we had a surprise stop at Ben and Jerry’s! Then, we went to Machon Maayan, which is a seminary in Givat Washington, and we got to explore a possible option for a gap year. While the girls learned about what a year at the seminary would be like, the boys made tzizit. After this, we went to Tel Aviv and got to visit the Independence Hall which is where the state of Israel was declared. Then we learned about the history of Tel Aviv and got to walk around Old Jaffa. At the end of the day we prepared for our trip to Jerusalem by writing letters to the wall. I’m so excited to continue my experience on TJJ!
