TJJer Spotlight: Phillip Scherbakov
Hey my name is Phillip Scherbakov and I’m from Akron Ohio. Today me and the bus four squad left Shlomi and made our way towards Yad-Binyamin. On the way we stopped and explored an achrciogical site filled with ancient synagogue ruins. It was amazing to see the preserved ruins. Next I saw a wild cactus pear and decided to eat it. Little did I know what kind of pain it would cause me. After we had a delicious lunch made up of freshly homemade pita, hummus, salad, rice, chicken, and meat. Next we partnered up and rode Donkeys. It was a once in a lifetime experience. I went with Evan Klinger and we rode a donkey which we nicknamed fluffy. After this we were treated with exotic rosmary tea and dried dates. I had so much fun that I bought a T-Shirt with the caption, “Do it on a Donkey×´. It was awesome! Can’t wait for tomorrow!!
