Day 6: Misgav Am, Kfvar Kedem, and the Stechler Family!!

We started off our day today by going to a place called Misgav Am. A man spoke to us about living on the border of Israel and Lebanon. He spoke about the importance of defending our country and living here.
His life story was so inspiring. He spoke with so much passion and was so genuine. Then we headed to Kfvar Kedem where we learned about how our ancestors lived. We made pita, ate a Mediterranean meal in a Bedouin tent and rode donkeys! The group then divided into two- one group went to shop and the other to play an i intense game of frisbee!
For dinner we headed over to the Stechler’s Home for a nice bbq. Some people got pushed in the pool and others just jumped in! It was wild!! Despite all the fun and games- The Stechler family makes it possibly for Jewish teens to come to Israel on TJJ. Not only was it so special and nice for them to open their home to us, but also to support and believe in us. They contributed to giving us the opportunity to come in TJJ.
Looking forward to a fabulous day tomorrow!
