TJJer Spotlight: Ari Bertman
Today we woke up at 4 to go on a sunrise hike in Eilat. I was not looking forward to waking up early and then climbing a mountain half asleep, but once I was at the top of the mountain looking at the beautiful sunrise it made me feel extremely connected to the land and to g-d. We also went to a farm in the middle of the desert. The man who owned the farm told us about how this whole place was built by hand and how hard it is to grow certain foods in the desert. He showed us the importance of hard work and that we are capable of doing anything.
