Today we started off with a bang. The most insane hike. Was it worth it? Heck yea it was!! Not gunna lie I think I’m gunna have iron thighs after this trip.
Everyone filled up with water and we went on our way. After we all lathered up with sunscreen, Ayella told us to all stay together since it’s going to get hot and is a hard path. But that was hard considering how difficult the path was. So I just kept jumping from group to group making conversation with everyone and listening to the music that shuffled on my playlist. Not everyone liked my music taste though lol. I was listening to all kinds like country, pop, rock, musical theatre, all different types. It was right after we arrived TWO HOURS LATER to the water pond area where we started to walk up hill and really start to feel the heat beat down on us. I was in a group with Clara, Jason and Raquel and we just kept trying to motivate each other to push through and have PDP! “No days off we stay grinding!” Sweat dripping down everyone’s faces, feet blistering, hearts racing, we finally make it to the buses and are greeted by Madeline with a high five and a good job from issac. Then loading onto the bus we all go get the best. Pizza. Ever!!! I forget the name of it but omg it was amazing. Sweet from the caramelized onions, hot from the oven, salty from the pesto sauce. Over all, delicious. Following up our crazy good meal we went to… prison!! Yay!!! Lol no but really it was really interesting to see all the different parts of the museum and to really take in what happened there. After our tour rabbi did a pole to see if anyone wanted to go to the beach and no one wanted to 🙁 Well not enough votes said yes I guess. So we’re eating for our bus and rabbi Nitzel told us what it means to be Jewish and how to use it to your benefit basically. I really liked that. Now we’re on the bus. And Deena reeeeeeally needs to pee and use the Lu( what British people call the bathroom. Thanks Louis!) so we stop at a gas station and everyone that had to go, goes.An hour passes by and we are all home. We have BBQ dinner out on the lawn and Dylan tells us about his chick-Fill-A container story and how the airport stole it. Poor Dylan. Last thing of the night is being in our groups and then bed. Today was a good day. Can’t wait for more 🙂
