Today was another amazing day here on TJJ!! As time goes on, we only begin to make closer relationships with everyone around us! We started off the day by going to Gilboa where we learnt the story of Shaul Hamelech! Our tour guide Daniel dressed up as Shaul and reenacted the story. We were really able to envision what took place there. Then we headed off to Barkan where we walked on a dusty dirt road in the blazing heat of the summer. Although we were all sweating, we approached a river that was shoulder high. There we jumped in and began swimming our way dow the trail. It was so much fun! We splashed, played games, and then entered a tunnel where we could slide right through because of the current! After getting out and drying off, we came back to our hotel in Shlomi and arranged a Shabbos Shuk. At the Shabbos Shuk we learnt all kind of various aspects of the uniquness of shabbos!
To end the night off, we watched “Dead Poet’s Society”. It was a very fascinating and inspiring movie.
What a fun day! We can’t wait for tomorrow!
